Why our internal glass doors win on every count
Internal glass doors transform the way light moves through a home. Our slim aluminium internal range is built to the same standards as our external doors — same frame system, same stainless-steel running gear, same concealed 3D-adjustable hinges, same powder-coat finish that lasts 25 years.
That means a door that runs silent on day one and silent on day 3,000. Soft-close dampers stop slamming. Acoustic glass options block noise. And because the aluminium frame is so slim, the glass dominates the view — exactly the look modern interiors crave.

Internal glass doors inside real UK homes
Interior-only photography of internal glass doors fitted between kitchens, snugs, home offices and hallways. Summer-day lighting shows exactly how the doors move light around the house.
Frames disappear against the wall so light flows from room to room.
Bonded astragal bars — the hottest interior trend of the last five years, delivered in aluminium.
Same stainless-steel rollers and concealed 3D hinges as our external ranges — built for decades.
Internal glass doors that change how your home feels
Internal glass doors are one of the smartest upgrades a homeowner can make. They create light where there was none. They divide rooms when you need quiet, and they vanish when you need open space.
Bifold, sliding or pivot — which is right for your room?
A bifold folds back on itself and stacks to the side — obvious choice for kitchen-to-dining or kitchen-to-snug. A sliding door moves sideways on a top-hung track and disappears into a pocket — suits tight spaces. A pivot door is a single large panel that rotates around a central pivot — dramatic, grand, perfect for hallway-to-lounge features.
How wide can internal doors go?
Bifolds go up to 6 m wide across 2–6 leaves. Sliding doors span 4 m per leaf and can stack two or three leaves to span 8 m+. Pivot doors can be up to 1.2 m wide on a single leaf and up to 3 m tall.
Top-hung or floor-track?
Top-hung is our default. The entire weight hangs from a steel top track and the floor stays clear — no trip hazard, no carpet break, no dirt trap. A floor track is cheaper but you’ll vacuum it weekly.
Acoustic glass for home working
If the room on the other side is a home office, specify acoustic 6.8 mm laminated glass — two sheets sandwiching a sound-damping interlayer. Zoom calls with kids screaming next door, barely hear them.
Crittall-style grid for the industrial look
A Crittall door has an astragal bar grid splitting the glass into small rectangles — the 1920s industrial steel-window look reborn. Jet Black frames with a Crittall grid in a new-build is the classic spec.
What about safety glass?
All our internal glass doors are fitted with toughened safety glass as standard. Toughened glass is up to five times stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small granular pieces if it does break.
